Our objective is to create and assist with implementing the Regional Housing Action Plan connected to the Statewide Housing Plan and build a connected, collaborative, and inclusive housing ecosystem.
Focusing on key housing priorities, Southwest Michigan Regional Housing Partnership’s Working Groups seek to develop targeted goals and strategies to address disparities, expand affordable housing, and strengthen the housing system. These entities and their efforts contribute to a comprehensive Regional Housing Action Plan.
Offering a comprehensive library, resources including presentations, funding opportunities, and training materials to support housing initiatives across the region. Topics include funding, community land trusts, and USDA programs, providing valuable insights for developers, municipalities, and housing advocates.
Providing online and in-person opportunities for learning, networking, and advancing housing solutions for Region J’s seven-county region and beyond, events include conferences, webinars, and more focused on rural development, permitting, zoning practices, community engagement, and corridor revitalization.
