Learn about the MI Neighborhood program and how to fund housing projects specifically with CDBG! This is a 30 min presentation from Chris Lussier, CDBG State Administrative Manager from the Neighborhood Development Division followed by a Q and A session. Do you have questions about applying for funding or are you starting a new grant and want to get clarity on the process? This is a perfect time to ask Chris or other communities from southwest Michigan about the best practices and where to get support. There is also a Southwest Michigan (Region J) Peer to Peer Connect channel on Microsoft Teams, please fill out this separate Google form to get an invite to this channel.
Region J was allocated $3,513,000 of CDBG funding on October 6th. Funding will be opened up to other communities in Michigan if our region does not have enough LOIs to cover the allocated dollars.
